- She sat there lost in thought. It had been more than three months since she had set her eyes on Denzel. She had really missed him. He had already told her to her face that he didn’t love her and that he never did after the last night they had made love. It really hurt her so much that the man she loved and cherished so much, the man she had already made a lot of sacrifices for—divorcing her husband Jake, who loved her so much, and moving over to New York just to be close to him—never loved her, not even for a bit.
- She sipped her drink, looking down from the balcony of her apartment onto the street of New York as people went about their business. She just couldn’t let him go; she would never let him go. She needed to do something to salvage the situation, and it had to be very fast.
