• I signaled Pete to lean in so I could whisper to him."If she takes the gun from you, I'll kill you." I felt the need to warn Pete. Although I knew Mae couldn't match up to him, she had surprised me when she once took down three of my men at a time at my auction site.
• Pete raised the gun and waved it for her to come at him.
• Mae made her effort with a quick attack on him but gladly he held her by the neck to stop her. I could have asked her to do this with anyone else but I wanted her little ass to be defeated quickly and out of my room so I asked Pete to do it. I knew how easy it would be for him to put her in place.
