Chapter 82 In The Eye Of The Storm

• I waited for Leandro to come home. I was still sitting on the bed when I heard the door open, so I prepared myself.
• "Why are you still awake?" I closed my eyes as I heard his voice. I heard some noise, a sign that Leandro was moving around the room. I looked at him. He went into the walk-in closet and then to the bathroom. I didn't respond to his earlier question, and it seemed like he wasn't waiting for an answer either.
• I waited for him to come out of the bathroom, and there Leandro was, looking fresh with damp hair and sweatpants. Maybe he noticed my stern expression because he glanced at me briefly before heading back into the walk-in closet.
