Chapter 39 Meeting Celeste

• As the evening approached, I wasn't sure if my outfit was appropriate. We arrived at Mom's house, and she greeted us. I kissed her on the cheek, and Dad greeted us as well. Mom was overjoyed, and her husband stayed close, watching Leandro and me.
• We went to the backyard where the dinner was taking place. I met some more of Leandro's uncles. I greeted them politely before Leandro and I took our seats.
• Soon, Eleanor and Emilio arrived, along with a young girl. I glanced at the girl. Was that their daughter? Eleanor hadn't mentioned to me that they had a child, so I had no idea. Leandro hadn't said anything either.
