Chapter 57 Trapped Together
- My eyes widened as I recalled hearing the sound of crashing waves earlier. Without another word, I rushed out of the room. Leandro called my name calmly. I didn't stop and ran out of the house. I noticed a few of his men making way for me as they saw me running.
- I came to a halt, out of breath, when I saw the vast ocean. I stared at my feet as I felt the soft sand gently caressing them.
- "St—," I cursed under my breath when I realized Leandro had spoken the truth. We were on an island, and it wasn't a public one! There were no other people here, and I couldn't see any other establishments nearby. Besides the vast ocean, sand, and lush surroundings, there was only one house.
