Chapter 14 Confronting Trauma

• "Do you have anywhere else to go?" Leandro asked when Mia had left us.
• I shook my head. I was gauging Leandro's reaction to what Mia had called us, but it seemed he didn't think it was a big deal. So, I decided not to make a big deal out of it either. "No, I don't. Shall we head home?"
• He nodded at me. I held his hand again, just like earlier. He looked over there, and for a moment, I thought he was going to let go of my hand, but he didn't. He tightened his grip before we walked out of the mall together. It might have been an ordinary day for most people, but for me, it was one of those days I would treasure in my memory. Because even though simple things happened that day, I was extremely happy.
