• My mate really wanted to be the one to escort me back home but it was not possible because of the current situation, he told me that he had been given an emergency mission by the alpha Marcus and so he had to stay back for that.
• I was disappointed but I have to accept it for the way it was and I told him that I was going to call him as soon as I got home and he asked me to keep to that promise apologizing once again that he couldn't come along with me, I had to admit I was slightly angry for Marcus for separating us like this but I understood that my mate was one of the most capable wolves and as a result he was going to be busy most of the time and I wasn't supposed to be bitter about that but I couldn't help it sometimes especially since I really valued his company so much and yet it seemed as if we were separated more times than we were together however I couldn't say that we didn't have quality time over the quantity that we lacked.
