• as I was leaving her there was the sense of guilt that was following right after me even more closely than my shadow but I didn't look back to address it even when I was sitting down later a couple of minutes had passed and I was rocking back and forward on my chair dancing three documents without paying any particular attention to one.
• finally I stopped decieving myself that I was going to be able to focus on anything, after concluding that I left them gently slammed the documents on the table in front of me and you in the back almost enough to make myself trip on the chair and fell back but at the last minute I regained my balance pushing my weight forward instead of backwards and avoiding a very embarrassing fall.
