Chapter 44

• Lilith POV
• I stared at the invisible watch on my wrist for the millionth time as I typed my feet on the ground and waited anxiously for my mate to return back to me but yet after several minutes that have passed there was still no sight of him.
• Naturally I knew that the fact that he was trying his best to go to the cabin and return without being noticed was going to cause him to be slower than normal which was obviously a faster pace but it was more important not to be noticed I couldn't wait to be out of this place so that I wouldn't have to be walking as if I was trying to tread on eggshells.
