• I stood in front of the council, looking out at the faces of my pack members. They were still recovering from the shock of Dean's betrayal, and I knew that I had a long road ahead of me if I was going to rebuild their trust.
• "We have suffered a great loss," I began, my voice strong and steady. "But we must not let that loss define us. We must come together and work towards a brighter future, free from the threat of rival packs and traitors."
