• As I stood before the council, I felt a sense of satisfaction. My plan was finally coming to fruition. I had infiltrated the pack, gained their trust, and was now on the cusp of taking control.
• I smiled as Lilith accused me, knowing that the jig was up. "You're right, Lilith," I said, my voice filled with confidence. "I am not who I say I am. I am a member of a rival pack, and I am here to take control of your pack."
