• The talk that I was supposed to be having with my father to tell him that I was not going to be getting married to Marcus was taking longer than I expected it to, and I don't even know why a lot of things I become confusing ever since I returned to my home but Marcus was not complaining or making any sort of move to show me that he was tired and as much as I did not want to take advantage of his kindness I felt like my father was relying so much on him helping us because he was in love with me or something like that when you wanted to get married to me and if I just told him that he was just practically getting help for that then his pride might come into it and he may claim that he doesn't want any charity from anyone.
• So I held off on telling my father for the meantime and keeping it to myself because I need I think I immediately told him what I had on my mind it might cause a bigger commotion and so because I was holding back on this I found out that we had to go on with some ceremonies before the main marriage which was not going to hold of course but in order to keep pulling my father while we were still making plans we had to hold that ceremony.
