• Stunned, his eyes widened in shock, "What?" Mr. Markson exclaimed, quickly climbing down from his car as they both rushed into the house.
• Swiftly, he carried Claudia in his arms and took her into the car. "Get in!" He shouted, gesturing with his hand to Laura as she looked confused and shocked.
• Mr. Markson kicked the car immediately and took off, heading straight to the hospital. "Mom, wake up!" Laura kept calling out to Claudia, stroking her shoulder. Claudia was already unconscious and didn't move a finger.
