• Harold was all alone in the sitting room with Laura, and he made an effort to see if she could remember him. He started teasing her about the first time they met each other at the door. He also reminded her of the hug at Harold's birthday party.
• Laura sat still, trying to recall the events, but she got another flash, and everything she tried to remember seemed blank. Just then, the headache returned. The headache was severe, and she moaned in pain.
• Harold jumped from the couch and rushed to the door to see who it was. To his surprise, a tall, handsome, and fair-skinned young man was standing there, smiling at him. It was Daniel Edward's cousin, Edric.
