• After some time, Laura felt compelled to inquire of Daniel, "Are you being genuine?" Her voice was quiet and composed. Daniel looked puzzled, furrowing his brow as he asked, "What do you mean?" Turning towards Laura.
• Laura sat up slowly on the bed, saying, "I'm referring to everything. Your love and affection, are they authentic? Daniel, I need you to be honest with me just this once." Laura expressed, clasping her hands together.
• Daniel chuckled softly as he gently took Laura's hands. "Laura, I understand I've been different in various ways, but trust me when I tell you that what I'm feeling at this moment is entirely new to me.
