Chapter 52

• Laura woke up with a start and muttered to herself, "I almost forgot I have to be at the house today." Her heart raced with the realization of the day's expected agenda, and she quickly got up from the bed.
• As she glanced towards the closed bathroom door, the sound of running water echoed through the air, and she realized that Daniel was taking his bath. "Alright then, let me pick out my clothes for the day," she said to herself quietly.
• Laura took a little time to choose her outfit, and by the time Daniel walked out of the bathroom, she was ready. But he refused to answer her greeting, and she chose to ignore his behavior.
