I run up the staircase of the garage, a small suitcase in one hand. I make my way into the house, which is shrouded in darkness. I head to the living room, drop my keys on the coffee table as I inhale the scent of home. Oh, I missed it. I turn and head upstairs, walk to a room at the end of the hallway, slowly open the door, and walk in. I smile down at the sleeping figure on the bed. Satisfied, I leave quietly and continue down the hallway to my bedroom. I enter slowly, dropping the suitcase in the corner, pulling off my shoes, and undoing my shirt. I approach the bed looking at her beautiful sleeping face; my heart swells as I watch the love of my life sleeping peacefully. But the sweet sentiment quickly turns into a chuckle as I watch her sleeping with her mouth wide open. That’s the wife, I think as I take a seat beside her and lean over to kiss her lips. Her sweet lips still send heat throughout my body whenever our lips met. I pull her into my arms as I suckle on her irresistible lips until she responds, she opens her eyes slowly, smiling as she wraps her arms around me. I soak in her warmth. I missed these arms, I missed your lips, and I missed you.
