Chapter 95

• I make my way out of school to head home. Zayne and I rent a house halfway between our schools so we can live together. I still keep my place with the girls and stay there between classes and plan to use it once a week, but so far, yesterday has been the only night I slept there since we started school again. Traffic isn’t too bad, so I pull up to the three-bedroom house Zayne, and I call home thirty-five minutes later. It's huge, but it's cozy and is our first space together as a couple, so we adore it. I hurry out of the car, my stomach full of knots as I anticipate seeing my baby. I grab my books, quickly make my way inside, and head to the den where Zayne usually plays games.
• “Squad one, we’re….” I smile when I hear his deep voice and hurry into the room.
