• I watch her walk away with her friends beaming and laughing, and it makes me so happy. The last three days of planning were crazy, especially while hiding it from her, but it went so perfectly, and seeing how happy she is, makes it all worth it. I had the idea after we left the hospital to create her fairy tale moment. I didn’t want her last memory of this place to be of her ending up in the hospital. I want it to be a special place for us because it is where we got together and confessed our love. So, my hope is after tonight; she will only remember the good about this castle and the time we spent in it together.
• I smile as I scan the room while awaiting her return. It’s pretty spectacular, and everything has gone as planned. I have one more surprise tonight that I hope goes smoothly. My heart pounds as I nervously touch my pocket.
