Chapter 63 Can't Land A Job
- Angie huffed in frustration; she couldn't land a job and neither did any of the companies want to see her. The moment she stepped into the building for an interview, they quickly avoided her like she was some virus. Hey, the pandemic is over, you know. She wanted to scream and chase after them but they quickly close the doors and windows. It was still early, so what was going on? She couldn't help but feel something ominous was hanging around.
- She went for that interview and this interview but everyone avoided her. Weird. They all quickly closed down but our wasn't even 8pm or night. Something IS going on. What was she going to say to her parents when they asked her about her salary or job? Her mother was very busybody and has a habit of constantly invading her daughter's private space. She was going to become the talk of the town soon thanks to her mother's big mouth.
- Don't get her wrong; Angie loves her mother more than anything else. Sometimes they would get into an argument. But they would always make up after that. Her mother may be irritating and invasive but that was the way she showed her attention to Angie. Angie was the only child in the family so it was natural that she gets lots of special attention from her parents. But being the only child in the family certainly comes with lots of pros and cons - you will get bombarded with lots of questions and attention of your daily life.
