She needed to see Ava. Maybe she could help her prove her innocence. Then her cousin and brother will believe her that she is innocent. Monica called a cab and rushed towards Ava's house. Along the way, she felt so anxious that it seemed like the devil was chasing her. After a few minutes, she arrived at Ava's house. She bolted up the garden path, ignoring the guards who tried to stop her. Ava's house was a very grand and huge mansion situated near a peaceful lake. She had countless of servants tending to her large and exquisite garden.
"Miss! Miss! You cannot go in unless you have the card," the guards blocked her way successfully.
