Chapter 2 Leave!
- "Now! Leave my apartment!" He was chasing her out.
- "Brian, why? We can start again, please don't do this," Marilyn begged him but it only heightened his anger.
- "Start over? With what, a bitch who hasn't even a penny on herself!? You've got to be kidding me. We are over," he dropped the bomb.
- "W-what? Brian, are you serious?" She couldn't believe her ears. Was it a dream? Was it fake? Was she in another dimension?
- "Do you think I'm lying? All these years, I have helped you get a job at my father's company. But you can't even do anything probably. Now people are gossiping, thinking you seduced me to land you a job at my dad's company. Do you even know who my father is?" He continued after she didn't answer.
- She opened her mouth to say something but he cut her off rudely. He had enough of this cheap woman.
- "My father is one of the richest billionaires in the world. His company, The Marshall Empire is the largest company in the world with many small companies under him. One day I'll inherit all of his wealth and I need a woman with a high status and position in the business world to accompany me. Look at you, you can't even compare to Ava Samson. You can't even help me achieve my goals,"
- "I'm not using you to boost my wealth or my position. I got the job at your dad's company fair and square!" Marilyn cried out. Why was he accusing her, being mean to her on purpose?
- "Fair and square?" He scowled, scanning her from head to toes. "Look at yourself in the mirror, your clothes and shoes. If it wasn't for me who put in a good word for the manager in charge, you wouldn't be selected,"
- "Then why did you make me enter the company?" She was close to breaking down. Marilyn was shocked greatly. She thought she had entered the company fair and square!
- "Why? Because I wanted you to satisfy my desires but you always refused, claiming you were busy. You were always so careful about your virginity," he tapped his foot impatiently.
- Marilyn was taken aback by his answer. So that was the reason why he wanted her to become his girlfriend? It was to scratch his itch and she failed to fulfill it.
- "Leave now, Marilyn. Before you make a complete fool of yourself. Ava, let's continue," he followed her back to bed where he positioned himself at her opening.
- Marilyn was stunned shocked. How could he act like this in front of her?
- "Or do you want to stay and watch us make out? You know you are welcome," he smirked cruelly.
- Marilyn turned to leave, her heart shattered to pieces as her gaze landed on the crushed cake on the floor.
- "Oh, and you are fired. Tomorrow, you may leave the company," he turned to say one final word to her before he thrust his throbbing dick inside of Ava's vagina, causing her to scream in ecstasy in front of Marilyn.
- Marilyn felt like her spirit has been taken out of her. With tears in her eyes, she made her way downstairs and out of the apartment. This was no longer her home. She will never return even if he begged her. She was done with him.
- She walked the dark empty streets, lost in thoughts and down in spirits. A cat meowed in the background and the strong wind blew a few crumpled newspapers past her. She had no place to stay, no house nor job. Just like that, in one night she lost everything. She looked up at the starry night sky and exhaled air of stress and tension.
- Suddenly her phone rang. She picked it up, seeing the caller's information and knew it was her best friend Angie. "Hey, Mari, so did he liked the present? It was your first birthday gift to him," The voice on the other end was optimistic and cheerful.
- "I did. But I found out he cheated on me," she said softly, trying to hide her breaky voice. She didn't want Angie to be worried.
- "He what?! How can he do such thing to you!? That bastard! When I see him, I'll beat him up on your behalf!" Angie said angrily. That was Angie, her best supportive friend. They have been friends since they were 13, so Angie knew how Marilyn was feeling at the moment and was trying to help her vent her anger.
- "Yeah, I know. It hurts. But I can't do anything. It seems like he was already cheating with me with a rich woman," Marilyn used her sleeves to wipe at her tears.
- "You know, darling girl. If you don't have a place to sleep, you can come to the bar where I work and stay for the night,"
- "But won't that anger your boss? I heard he's a grumpy old man,"
- "Nah, forget about him. Who cares when he's not in at the moment. Just come. Otherwise you want to sleep by the streets? The keys under the carpet as usual,"
- "Thanks, Angie. I knew I could count on you," Marilyn was grateful that at least she still have Angie even when everyone looked down on her.
- "Gee, you're welcome. I'm already at home now. So I won't be seeing you. Help yourself to the food at the back of you're hungry," Marilyn hanged up and made her way to The Blue Cocktails, the bar where Angie works.
- Tears started to slip down her cheeks as she walked. Her vision became blurred. She didn't want to be crying in the middle of the cold night so she fished under the carpet outside the door for the key Angie left.
- She place it into the keyhole. Click!
- Then she entered the bar. The bar was dimly lit with red and purple lights, no one was around. She made her way to the back where the fridge was. Suddenly she heard the front door opening. Footsteps resounded across the wooden floor. But who would enter at such late hour?
- Curiosity took over her as she made her way out front. As the bar was dimly lit, she couldn't see clearly and bumped into something fleshly. Or rather, someone - a man.
