After everything that has happened, Evans and Marilyn decided to go on a date at one of the fancy restaurants uptown. By now, Marilyn was getting accustomed to seeing and being surrounded by luxury items so she didn't ogle and leave her jaw hanging when she came across the marvelous architecture.
Evans took her hand, squeezing it and observing her expression. She didn't shy away from his grip, rather she held onto his hand. It was awkward at first, she couldn't fathom why was he being so gentle and sweet to her like a changed person.
"Stop it! There are so many people looking!" Marilyn chided him but secretly she enjoyed the way their hands fit perfectly.
