• “So you asked him to kiss you?” Alpha Dane growled. “How was it? I warned you not to go to him. Why did he come to your house?” He was seething with anger. His chest was rising and falling as his hot breath fell on my cheeks.
• My head went dizzy as his pine and mist scent washed all over me. It seeped into my bones like a drug. I took a ragged breath in as my belly dipped and then filled with liquid heat.
