Chapter 162 Threat Ⅱ
- Violet POV
- The phone went dead, and I stared at it, dread washing over me. Dread gave way to anger. I dialed the number back, but it was switched off. Gritting my teeth, I tossed the phone on my bed. Who dared to threaten me like that? All my thoughts ran to Sade, but I highly doubted that Sade would be able to place this call. Suddenly, the screen of the phone flashed, and a message appeared. I picked up the phone and tapped on the message. It was a photoshopped picture of Dave with a thick rope across his neck and red tears dropping from his eyes. The caption read: This is his future.
- I felt bile rising in my throat. I rushed to the bathroom and emptied whatever I had eaten. After I finished rinsing my mouth and saw myself in the mirror, I discovered that I had turned pale. My chest was thundering in my chest as nervousness kicked in. Someone out there had threatened to kill my pup. I was hoping that this trip would be refreshing, but it turned out to be a nightmare in the making.
