Chapter 9 Wanting Divorce

• "We need to talk to Karl. I can't turn a blind eye to what you did to me, and even though I loved you very much, I can't continue to live with you. What you did is inexcusable and cannot be forgiven. Let's get a divorce and put this whole thing behind us.”
• His face was painted with a sarcastic smile as he listened to what I had to say. "Divorce? Forget about it because it won't even come close to happening in the next five years!"
• I had a hard time understanding what he was saying. "Five years? What do you even mean by that?! I'm ready to call it quits as soon as I possibly can. I am unable to continue living with a demon like you."
