Chapter 26 Letting The Cat Out
- "Felix, tell me quickly; I don't have time, so please hurry up, I have someone waiting for me at home.” I only wished him to talk faster and say what he wanted so that I could go home before Karl came back. - “Listen to me, Lavinia, if you have even an iota of love towards me, just tell me, and no one will stop me from caring for you." He cocked his head as he waited for me to respond. He must have had the whole conversation rehearsed.
- I take a deep breath and try not to act surprised at his words. Somehow, I knew it would come to this but I never knew it was too soon. Felix was a person I greatly admired no doubt but it wasn’t for his bluntness.
