Chapter 1 The Wedding
- I opened my eyes with unusual enthusiasm.
- I was very excited; today was my wedding day with the man I fell in love with.
- As soon as I remembered that this was the last time I was going to wake up in my room because I would be waking up in my husband's bed by tomorrow, I slowly lifted the quilt over my head and then pulled it down again to show only my sparkling hazel eyes.
- Oh lord…! I couldn't hold in my excitement. I will be in the same bed and in his arms.
- I got off my bed and headed for the bathroom. ! I removed my clothes and got into the hot tub with headphones on. After that, I shut my eyes and savored the present moment.
- The feeling was exhilarating.
- The only thing I lacked now in order to make this atmosphere more romantic was my future husband.
- After what seemed like an eternity, I finally emerged from the restroom while still wearing the towel I'd wrapped around my body. I needed some help deciding what to wear, so I went to the dressing room.
- After I got dressed, I took my phone and checked it for a bit before I got off. A foolish smile cracked my mouth when I received a message on my phone.
- (Good morning, my beautiful wife! You can't imagine how eager I am to see you in your white dress. From your one and only)
- I read his message with a broad smile; whoever saw me would think I was an idiot, but what do I do when love is in control here?
- I was preparing myself to reply to him but stopped. I'm not romantic. I put my hand under my chin, thinking of an answer to his message.
- And after precisely two minutes, I put my hand on the phone screen, ready to write the message.
- (Good morning, my handsome husband)
- Somehow, I finished my conversation with my fiancé and headed downstairs to where my beautiful family gathered.
- "Good morning, my dear family!" I said with a bright smile as I approached the dining table.
- I kissed my mother's cheek first, then my father's, and they returned my greetings.
- "Come baby, sit with us for breakfast." My dad said.
- "No, Dad, I'm in a hurry to catch up with Rosie in order to start the wedding preparations." I declined politely.
- "Wait, where are the others?"
- "Robert is still sleeping, Martin has a call, Suga is-"
- "I'm here!" Suga's voice echoed from the stairs.
- "Good morning, brother," I said with a wide smile. To tell you the truth, this is pretty much how I spend every day because I have always been the spoiled girl in my family, and no one will ever say no to any of the things I ask for, regardless of what it is.
- I was anxious when my brother ruffled my hair as usual.
- All my brothers messed up my hair whenever they got the opportunity to do so.
- It's their fond, mischievous way of being playful because I was the only female child in the family.
- "Oh Suga, stop doing that. It took me a long time to style it. Don't forget that today is my wedding day, so you have to respect me a little."
- Suga rolled his eyes and then sat down. He must have been fed up with me saying this all the time.
- "Do you have to remind us about this every second? Come on, sit down and have breakfast first."
- "No, I'm going now to prepare myself."
- I looked at my mother pleadingly. "Mom, will you go with me?!"
- "Yes, I will. Carmen, please bring my bag?!" She asked the maid standing some distance away.
- "Okay, madam, I will bring it right away."
- ----
- I was sitting inside the bride's room in my white dress attached to a long hairdo with diamond accessories. My heart was beating very fast and my friend, Rosie, was doing her best to calm my nerves.
- "Rosie, I'm so tense. I don't know what to do?! I don't know how to please a man. What if I can't satisfy him on our first night?" I said nervously while pulling at the hem of my dress.
- Rosie giggled. I resent her behaviour. I wanted her to cheer me up, but I should have known she sought a means to mock my discomfort.
- " I will fucking kill him!" My brother's voice suddenly echoed from behind as he walked into the room with my dad and two brothers.
- "You have grown up so fast, sis. Who will I be within your absence, hmm?!"
- Brad grabbed me in a smashing bear hug that knocked my breath away, but his words filled my eyes with tears.
- "Hey Brad, you've always got Martin and Suga and I'll always come home to visit or when my husband allows it."
- "Let the girl have some space." My middle brother, Martin, said, taking Brad away from me.
- He came to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "Take care of yourself, sweetie and remember I am always here for you if you need anything, okay?"
- I nodded at him and he turned away from me as Suga approached.
- As usual, I noticed the latter's hand ready to roughen my hair, so I raised my finger in his face in warning.
- "Sorry, sis, old habit," he apologized. "Don't forget your guards are here to come running whenever you need our help."
- I nodded my head as he did a smart salute. My father was next to approach me. I looked at his eyes shining with tears, but he was working hard not to shed them. He smiled at me and gently rubbed my cheeks.
- "My princess, you have grown so fast. I can't believe today is your wedding day," he opened his arms and I quickly threw myself into his chest.
- "Dad, I will always be your little girl, right?!" I asked like the spoiled child I was.
- "Of course you are my little girl and will always be so. Now let's go, your husband is waiting for you."
- I nodded to him and then adjusted myself to go down with my family towards the one waiting for me. To meet the love of my life! With every step I took down the aisle, my heart beat wildly and I felt everyone's looks directed at me.
- This increased the intensity of my tension, but in order to relieve that, I turned my gaze toward the only person who made my belly flatter with a butterfly, standing next to the jogger in his black suit.
- Oh good lord…! How can one be this handsome?
- My father's voice pulled me out of my thoughts as he began his words.
- "Son. I now offer you the part of my life, my princess and my youngest. I hope you will take care of her and make her happy."
- My father finished his touching speech, extending my hand to Karl, who quickly grabbed it.
- "Don't worry, Mr. Carlon, I promise I will take great care of her." He looked at me with such tenderness, making me blush deeply.
- I stood before my husband-to-be and waited for the priest to begin.
