Chapter 55 A New Chapter (2)

• Two days passed in a quiet lull. Lavinia, still ensnared by her fear and unable to venture beyond the threshold of her house, was trying to find her footing in this new chapter of her life. Her anxiety and panic clung to her, unyielding companions in her daily struggle.
• On this particular day, as on others, Lavinia sat with her family in the living room, enveloped in the warmth of their company. Yet, there was a noticeable absence. "Mom, where is my brother Suga?" Lavinia asked, turning towards her mother with curiosity and concern. Her mother simply smiled and patted her hand reassuringly. "Wait a little, and you will know. It's a surprise."
• The family exchanged looks, each shaking their heads to indicate their ignorance of the surprise. "No, we don't know, we just heard about it," Robert chimed in, his curiosity piqued.
