Chapter 59 Doing Next

• We watch Alayah for a while as she sits in my lap, it isn’t difficult to tell she is thinking about everything she has heard so far and Dad told us to just let her process everything. Dad and Mara seem to think that she will eventually talk to us about what is running through her mind, I just hope that they are right because I hate not knowing what I can do to help her and when she says we need to talk about the connection between us I fear the worst.
• “Topaz and I have decided we will try to tackle one thing at the time and for us the most important thing right now is to figure out what this connection between us means. I think we all want to find the answer to that question, because I doubt this is easy for any of you.” She says and I can feel myself relax a little but it doesn’t mean she has put my mind at ease, she could still decide that this isn’t what she is looking for.
