• Growing up I always thought Nathan would be the one most affected by not finding his Mate, but in the last few years I have seen the disappointment in Nikolay’s eyes every time Khal told him there was no connection. Seeing the look in Nikolay’s eyes when he was talking about Alayah was amazing, I have seen the same look in Dad’s eyes when he talked about Mara and I see it in the eyes of every mated male who talks about their Mate.
• “Okay, let’s go see Erick and his Father. In the meantime we will stay close to Alayah and see where this connection takes us.” I say as I get out of my seat and my Brothers follow me down the stairs to the Delta office on the ground floor, it will be their workspace if they are not outside training our Pack-members or patrolling our borders.
