Chapter 9 Embarrassing Themselves
- As the train continued its journey, the transit police officers arrived at that train compartment.
- When the two Kusweinian students saw the transit police officers, they looked each other in the eyes and shouted louder in pain.
- "What happened?" As soon as the two transit police officers entered the train compartment, they saw blood on the floor and two Kusweinian students, one looking worse than the other. They raised their brows subconsciously while their expressions changed.
- When a fight happened in the train compartment of their authority, they would need to take the responsibility for it—this was especially so for fights involving foreigners.
- "You Cheilians are such bullies! Beating us up just because you're good at fighting!" The long-haired Kusweinian still had blood flowing out of his mouth. Since some of his teeth were dislocated, he was speaking indistinctly.
- After saying that, he tried hard to climb up from the ground and glared at Isaac devilishly. Then, he said, "He attacked us! If you don't arrest him now and give him a heavy sentence, we're going to report this to the embassy!"
- "That's right! I think he broke my leg. You Cheilians must give us justice on this matter! " The other crew-cut Kusweinian wanted to stand up, but he felt an intense pain in his leg. He felt pain throughout his body as though the bones of his whole body were dislocated.
- "What the hell?! You guys are really shameless!" The Cheilia University student who was beaten by the two Kusweinians became provoked when he heard that. How dare they blame us?! I've never seen such shameless people before!
- Exasperated, he lifted his hand right away, wanting to give a tight slap on the nearest Kusweinian's face.
- However, just when he lifted his hand, he was stopped by the elder transit police officer.
- That elder transit police officer's hand was steady, and there was an apparent callus between his thumb and index finger. When Isaac saw that, he narrowed his eyes.
- This old transit police officer should be a former soldier.
- At this moment, all the passengers in the train compartment were enraged as well. How shameless of them!
- "Officer, don't believe these two Kusweinians. They are the ones who degraded our country and started the fight. Look at the injuries on that young man whom you stopped. They're from these two Kusweinians. If it wasn't for this lad standing up and stopping them in time, that young man's injury would have been even more severe!" a gray-haired old man stood up and said while trembling in anger.
- "That's right. The Kusweinians started it! They humiliated our country! How can we endure it?!" Another furious passenger stood up sharply.
- "Officer, they started the fight first. They even said that Cheilia martial arts is trash! Not only that, they claim that Memorial Day, paper-making technology, and printing technology are all from their country," Theo said in his baby voice.
- …
- All the passengers in the train compartment were getting agitated while telling the officers everything that had happened.
- "Bullsh*t! You guys were the ones who started it. Let me tell you—we're foreigners, and you hitting us means that this is a foreign affair. If you don't punish this person who hit us strictly, we will definitely bring this up to the embassy!" The long-haired Kusweinian covered his red and swollen cheek while arguing furiously in front of that solid proof.
- Just then, Isaac took a step forward in the Kusweinian's direction. Stomp!
- When the long-haired Kusweinian saw Isaac move again, he was so afraid that his heart skipped a beat. His expression changed and he swallowed what he was going to say. As his knees buckled, he took a step backward and nearly fell.
- Clearly, Isaac left a lasting trauma on him!
- "You're in Cheilia. It's not a place where random Kusweinians can run wild. It'll be useless even if you bring this up to the United Nations, let alone the embassy." Isaac's voice wasn't loud, but it gave people an assertive feeling, along with a sense of despise and contempt!
- When the passengers on the train heard that, they felt a sudden agitation in their hearts. That's right! How dare a Kusweinian act wildly in Cheilia?! They looked at Isaac with respect.
- After the old transit police officer, who was a former soldier, heard everything, he took a step forward and looked at the two Kusweinians. His face then darkened at once.
- "If you want to bring this up to the embassy, you should go through the legal formalities then. Ask your embassy to take him away. If not, just let this go and get off this train!" he bellowed assertively.
- Hearing that, the two Kusweinians were completely shocked. Why are the police officers in Cheilia so tough? From his tone, he treats our embassy as nothing.
- When they looked at the furious and contemptuous gazes from all around them, their faces turned red and they couldn't say anything.
- They were exchange students, after all. If they really brought this up to the embassy, and the embassy found out about everything today, their quota for the exchange student program that their families tried so hard to obtain might be canceled.
- On top of that, there would be a permanent stain left on their files, which could directly affect their futures.
- In fact, they thought that using the embassy to scare them could easily solve this trouble. Yet, they didn't know that in this day and age, even a transit police officer would treat them so assertively.
- Under the crowd's stares, they didn't know what to do at that moment.
- Just then, the train stopped at a station.
- When they heard the announcement of the train reaching the station in the train compartment, they were like drowning men catching at a straw.
- "W-We reached our station. I-I'll just let this go," the long-haired Kusweinian stuttered while lowering his head. Then, he turned around to leave in embarrassment.
- Seeing that, the crew-cut Kusweinian heaved a sigh of relief as well. He tried hard to climb up from the ground and quickly followed the other Kusweinian out of the train while limping on one leg.
- "Pfft! What the f*ck?!" bellowed the beaten-up Cheilia University student as he massaged his swollen face.
- Likewise, the others in the train compartment showed contempt in their gazes. How shameless!
- At this moment, the transit police officer on the train turned around and bowed to Isaac. Then, he reached out his hand to shake Isaac's hand while saying, "Good job, lad. Shameless Kusweinians like this should be punished!"
- Hearing that, the passengers in the train compartment looked at Isaac again, and their gazes were filled with respect.
- At the same time, the two young and beautiful girls who were hit on just now felt their faces burning. If it weren't for this man in front of them, they would have nearly been fooled by those two shameless Kusweinians!
- They looked at Isaac, who had an unexplainable aura and wanted to say something but didn't know how to start.
