Chapter 10 You're My Brother-In-Law!
- As the train compartment clamored, the transit police officers left when they had other matters to deal with. Only after a while did the train compartment turn silent.
- The male university student who had been beaten just now went to the empty seat beside Isaac and sat himself down. With his face full of respect, he looked at Isaac and said shyly, "I'm Sean Sullivan, a student from Dunrey University. Thank you for helping out just now."
- "It's every Cheilians' duty to defend the name of Cheilia." Isaac waved his hand with a smile. His impression of Sean was pretty good.
- When Sean saw Isaac smiling, he felt relieved instantly. Ever since Isaac put up a fight just now, it left a strong image in Sean's mind. Without him knowing, he was feeling pressure from Isaac and admired a strong person toward him.
- "Are you heading to Dunrey too?" he asked when he saw that Isaac was quite friendly.
- "Yes." Isaac nodded.
- "What a coincidence! I'm very familiar with Dunrey. My house is just there. If you need me when you arrive at Dunrey, just give me a call. I'll do my very best to help you! By the way, what are you going to Dunrey for?" Sean asked curiously.
- "For a blind date." Isaac didn't plan to hide from him either.
- "A blind date? My family asked me to come back because my elder sister's fiancé is coming to Dunrey! It's such a coincidence! If my future brother-in-law is half as good as you, I'd accept him without any hesitation."
- At this moment, Sean suddenly felt the connection between the two of them was one step closer.
- As the train continued its journey, Isaac didn't have anything to do anyway, so he asked Sean about some local customs in Dunrey. Of course, since Sean admired Isaac very much, he told him everything.
- At the same time, the two girls on the train were staring at Isaac and looking as though they wanted to talk to him. Yet, they still couldn't find an excuse to start talking to him in the end.
- At 3.00PM, the train finally arrived at Dunrey.
- When Isaac got off the train, Sean followed him down as well.
- "Isaac, since you're not familiar with Dunrey, I can buy you a drink when you finish your schedule. What's your number? Since you saved me on the train, I need to give you my token of appreciation in Dunrey. You can't say no to this." Sean had already mentioned this twice on the train.
- When he saw how insistent Sean was, Isaac couldn't reject him anymore and gave him his contact number.
- "I got it. It's a deal, then. I'll call you tonight!" When Isaac finally agreed to his suggestion, Sean's face was filled with delight. He then said, "By the way, where is the venue of your blind date? I'm very familiar with all the places in Dunrey. I might be able to drop you there."
- "There's a neighborhood in Dunrey called The Gardens. Have you heard of it before?"
- "The Gardens?" Sean was stunned for a moment. The next second, he asked subconsciously, "Which villa in The Gardens are you going to?"
- "Villa number seven. Why? Have you been to The Gardens?" Isaac was slightly confused.
- "W-What?!" Sean's body trembled a little. Then, he rubbed his ears, afraid that he had heard it wrongly. "W-What number did you say?" he asked again.
- "Seven."
- "Y-You're going to Villa Seven in The Gardens for a blind date?!" Sean was stuttering.
- "What's wrong?" Isaac looked at Sean, whose face seemed strange.
- "W-What the f*ck?!" Sean held it in for a long time. He then said, "You're my brother-in-law!"
- Your brother-in-law? Now, it was Isaac's turn to be stunned. "What's your sister's name?" he asked.
- "Sandra Sullivan!" There was still disbelief in Sean's tone. How is there such a coincidence? If he's really my brother-in-law, why is he so different from what I've heard?
- According to his sister, his brother-in-law was supposed to be an ignorant gangster who kissed his sister forcefully. Come to look at it now, that's not the case at all!
- At this moment, Isaac was slightly shocked as well. The person I saved just now is actually my future brother-in-law? What a coincidence!
- Ten minutes later, Isaac and Sean left the train station and got a cab. Then, they headed toward The Gardens.
- "Isaac, what have you been doing throughout the years? Why didn't you come back to visit my sister?" Sean still found it surreal even when he sat in the car.
- "I went to serve in the military. In the troop which I was in, there's a rule where we are not allowed to come back until the year of discharge." Isaac was looking outside the window to see the bustling Dunrey view.
- "I knew it! I knew that you're not any ordinary person. Those two Kusweinian students have some skills, but they still lost to you and were nearly disabled. I can already tell how good you are based on that. Isaac, are you part of the legendary special forces?" Sean looked at Isaac with excitement on his face.
- Hearing that, Isaac just smiled and didn't answer him. He diverted the topic by saying, "It's been a long time since I met Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan. Where's a good place to buy gifts in Dunrey? I should buy something. Since it's my first time going to your house, it wouldn't seem polite to go empty-handed."
- "You have a point. Sir, head to the Whaow Mall first, please," Sean informed the cab driver.
- Then, he looked at Isaac again and said, "My sister holds a deep grudge against you, Isaac. Also, she's very resistant to you being her fiancé. Be careful when you go there."
- When Isaac heard that, he was slightly startled, and some memories flashed in his mind.
- "Have you forgotten that you forced a kiss on Sandra when she went to your house back then? This left a trauma in her, making her think that you're a lewd gangster," Sean explained.
- When Isaac recalled what happened at that time, he couldn't help blushing and said, "I was too young and frivolous at that time. "
- With a smile, Sean said, "Actually, I've come back this time to help Sandra… teach you a lesson. Come to look at it now, it's all a misunderstanding. Don't worry, when we go back later, I'll only say good things about you. Ahem… but as for Sandra, I think it won't be of much use if I convince her myself."
- While they talked, they bought some gifts and headed to The Gardens.
- On their way there, Sean had already fully accepted this brother-in-law of his. On top of that, his plan of helping Sandra to teach Isaac a lesson before he came back to Dunrey turned into helping Isaac get Sandra back.
- Since Dunrey was big, the sky had already turned dark when they reached The Gardens.
- They arrived at Villa Seven in Dunrey's most luxurious villa neighborhood, The Gardens.
- After Sean pressed on the doorbell, a woman approaching her fifties opened the door. It was obvious that she took great care of her skin since there weren't any wrinkles on her face.
- "B*stard, you still know the way home? How many months have you been away?" As soon as the lady opened the door and saw Sean, she reached out her hand familiarly to his ear and pulled it.
- "Ouch! Mom, Mom! It's really painful! Ouch!" Immediately, Sean winced his face and shouted, "I brought someone home! Don't make me look so bad."
- At this moment, the lady turned her head and caught sight of Isaac as well.
- As soon as she saw him, she found the man familiar. After taking a closer look, something came up in her mind, and there was both surprise and shock in her eyes.
- "Who's here?" Just then, a stern voice, which had a superior's dignity, came from inside the villa.
