Chapter 15 In the Spotlight

  • At this moment, the manager, who wore a black suit and glasses, heard about this and quickly came over. When he saw the scene, his expression changed.
  • He recognized Christian, who was lying on the floor, and knew that he had learned boxing. He used to be a fierce man, but now, he looked miserable and was whimpering in pain like a sick dog on the ground. At the same time, what shocked him was that Tom was also on the ground too and Sean was beating him up!
  • As a person who could be the manager of Queens Bar in Dunrey, he knew a lot of insiders. For example, Graham Group was not only a business corporation!
  • "Manager…" Just when the security guards were at a loss for what to do, they saw the manager. At that moment, they quickly rushed to him like he was a lifesaver and told him everything that had happened just now. When the manager heard it, he snapped his head toward Isaac and looked bewildered.
  • On the other hand, Isaac was calm as though this had nothing to do with him. He was holding a glass of wine as he sat on the chair while savoring it.
  • Meanwhile, the crowd looked at Isaac respectfully. Tom's friends' faces were pale, terrified by what had happened.
  • "Dude, Tom is going to die if this continues. Why don't we just call it quits and ask Mr. Sean to stop?" The manager had a keen eye and knew that Isaac was the key to this matter. He put on a professional smile and walked toward Isaac.
  • However, Isaac didn't look at him and kept drinking as if tasting the flavor of the wine. As for the manager that stood in front of him, he simply ignored him.
  • Are you trying to stop the situation only now? Where were all of your men when Tom was the one causing trouble? he thought.
  • Seeing that he was being ignored, the manager stiffened. As the manager of the Queens Bar, he had some authority and status, and there weren't many people in Dunrey who would ignore him like what Isaac was doing. However, looking at Christian and Tom's state, he somewhat sensed Isaac's cold and terrifying aura. For a moment, he didn't dare to say anything more toward Isaac.
  • After venting out his emotions, Sean's punches finally slowed down. After all, he knew that Tom couldn't die at a place like this even though he deserved to.
  • Looking at Tom, who was incredibly miserable, Sean eventually stopped. After scanning his surroundings, he looked at the manager and said, "I'll pay for everything that has been destroyed."
  • "Alright." When the manager heard his words, he breathed a sigh of relief and nodded.
  • Thank goodness that Tom isn't dead yet! he thought.
  • On the other hand, Tom was in terrible shape. He was covered in blood, and his face was bruised. He probably even suffered a few cracked bones as he curled himself on the floor and kept screaming.
  • Usually, he was treated with respect and had never experienced such a trauma. However, as he was in pain and fear, his eyes were filled with anger and hatred!
  • At first, he was just going to teach Sean a lesson and break Isaac's limbs in front of his friends. Never did he expect that this would happen, and it made him have the urge to kill Isaac!
  • However, no matter how angry he was, he didn't show any hatred in front of Isaac. He gave off a sense of fear and didn't dare say a word.
  • "I feel so much better, Isaac!" Sean looked at Isaac in admiration as he had relieved the pent-up frustration in him.
  • Tom was never on good terms with him, and his hatred grew when Tom hurt the girl he loved. After beating Tom senseless, he felt clear in his mind.
  • Hearing his words, Isaac nodded and didn't say anything. In fact, he had never uttered a word and had only given out two slaps.
  • "Hurry up and take Mr. Tom to the hospital!" At that moment, the manager wiped the sweat off his forehead. Then, he ordered Tom's friends and the security guards to send Tom to the hospital.
  • As the manager spoke, Tom's friends were relieved as they were dumbstruck by the previous scene. It was becoming a trauma for them because of Isaac.
  • Suddenly, Isaac spoke up. "Wait!"
  • At this moment, the manager, Tom's friends, and the security guards changed their expressions when they heard Isaac's words.
  • Isaac looked at Tom, who was on the ground. "If you want to have your revenge, I'll be waiting. However, you will end up more miserable than before. Now, get out of here," he warned.
  • Listening to his words, the manager was unhappy about it, but he didn't say anything and just silently told the guards to get Tom away immediately.
  • Outside the bar, Tom was on the verge of going berserk. While he was being carried, he would feel an agonizing pain whenever he moved. Those carrying him sensed that something was off with Tom, but none of them dared to say anything at this moment.
  • "I want them dead!" As Tom growled, he took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number.
  • "Help me kill someone, Wesley!" As soon as the call was picked up, Tom said in a straightforward manner without hiding his anger and murderous tone.
  • On the other end of the phone, Wesley was standing by the window. When he heard Tom's words, his face turned cold, and he subconsciously pushed his glasses. "What's going on?" he asked.
  • "Wesley, it started…" Since Tom was overly worked up, he moved his body and screamed in pain. Then, he told Wesley about what happened in a hostile manner.
  • On the other end of the phone, Wesley's face was cold, and the soothing aura around him disappeared. Then, he said slowly, "Isaac had already beaten you up once in Kingsburg. Now that he is in Dunrey, how dare he do it again?"
  • "You must kill him, Wesley! Also, you can't let Sean off this matter easily!" Tom roared.
  • "Do you know who Isaac is?" asked Wesley as he looked out the window thoughtfully.
  • "I don't know, but I heard from Sean that he seems to be in a relationship with Sandra," Tom replied.
  • When Wesley heard this, he raised his head abruptly as a cold glint flashed across his eyes. After standing by the window for a long time, he said, "I'll take care of this matter by tonight."
  • Then, he hung up the phone. After that, he searched for a phone number and dialed it after thinking for a moment.
