Chapter 40 Sandra's Disbelief

• Hearing the busy tone over her phone, Erin paused in a trance. After all, no one had ever dared to hang up on her over the years due to her influence and power. Even the old man from the Sullivan Family doesn't have the guts to hang up on me, but Bella's school doctor just… Erin couldn’t believe that Isaac had just hung up on her without hesitation. However, she was not pissed off at all. Instead, she somehow found Isaac somewhat of an interesting man.
• "What happened, Aunt Erin?" Bella asked, noticing the strange reaction on Erin's face.
• "He just hung up on me." Erin rubbed her temples and added, "He said the reason he's decided to help you is that he thinks the surgery is bad for your health, considering how young you are. Secondly, he is doing it for Sandra. You know what? I must say that this doctor from your school is quite a… peculiar man, isn't he?"
