Chapter 16 Sc*mbag

  • When the call was picked up, a woman's cold and elegant voice sounded. "Hello?"
  • At once, Wesley's voice turned soft. "Hey, it's me, Wesley. You aren't asleep yet, are you, Sandra?" His voice was gentle and deep, and there was nothing off with the change in his behavior.
  • "No. Why are you calling?" Sandra asked. Although she didn't sound close to him, she wasn't distancing herself either.
  • As Wesley listened to her words, his aura changed slightly and his voice softened even more. "Actually, there's nothing important. It's just that Sean and Tom fought at Queens Bar. I heard that he had beaten Tom up with a guy named Isaac."
  • When Sandra heard his words, her tone changed. "What? They fought with Tom?"
  • "Yes. It's normal for youngsters to fight over each other. It isn't a huge deal. By the way, who is Isaac?" Wesley asked casually.
  • "Isaac?" When Sandra said his name, she paused slightly before continuing. "He is a friend of mine."
  • "Since he is your friend, I'll let this off the hook." Wesley acted as if he didn't mind and politely asked, "Do you have any spare time tomorrow night, Sandra? I want to treat you to dinner. I hear that Haven Hills has some new dishes."
  • "No, thanks. I have something to do tomorrow. Don't worry, though—I will teach Sean a lesson and make him apologize to Tom. He does nothing good but get into fights!" Sandra said sternly.
  • "It's fine, Sandra. They are teenagers. Don't be angry," he said while smiling. He sounded as if he didn't mind at all.
  • Although he didn't mind, she was upset. "I'm really sorry. I'll be hanging up now." After finishing her words, she hung up the call.
  • When the call ended, Wesley squinted his eyes and said, "You're lucky I like your sister, Sean. Otherwise, you'd die without knowing how." As he spoke, he gave off a cold aura. Then, he took out another phone and dialed a number.
  • "Who is it?!" On the other end of the phone, a voice that was filled with ferocity and annoyance sounded. Moreover, Wesley could hear a woman moaning and slapping sounds in the background, implicating what was happening.
  • When he heard the man's words, he frowned and knew that the person didn't bother looking at the caller ID since he was having sex. "It's me, Wesley," he said.
  • "Mr. Wesley? Hold on a second. I'm almost done." As the man spoke, his breath was heavy. After a few seconds, the man roared deeply and went silent. After a moment, the voice sounded again, "Did some idiot offend you again, Mr. Wesley?"
  • The person was James, and he was the son of Samuel, the lesser king of Dunrey's underworld!
  • "Here's the thing…" Wesley didn't waste any time and told Samuel everything.
  • "Flipping Christian off and beating Tom up? Who is this person named Isaac? How brave of him to stir trouble in Dunrey. Don't worry, I'll handle this!" Samuel's annoyed voice rang through the phone and into Wesley's ears, causing his ears to ring from the loud sound.
  • "Tell your men to be cautious, and don't let anyone know that I asked you to help Tom. Let them fake an accident and use it as a prelude before the beating. Also, don't be so rough with Sean. As for Isaac, break his limbs and force him out of Dunrey!"
  • At Queens Bar, Isaac and Sean hadn't left yet. However, Sean, who was still excited as he had vented out his anger, received a phone call.
  • "Come back home immediately, Sean!" Sandra scolded. She was never soft with him, for he had been getting into fights since young.
  • Hearing her stern voice, Sean was shocked. "What's wrong, Sandra?" he asked.
  • "What's wrong? How dare you ask me this question! If it weren't for Wesley, I wouldn't have known that you took Isaac to the bar and beat Tom up!" Sandra replied angrily.
  • "Me? Beating up Tom?" Don't listen to Wesley's nonsense, Sandra. I wasn't the one who started the fight. It was Tom who brought his men over to beat Isaac and me up. If it weren't for Isaac, who defeated Christian and Tom, we would be lying in the hospital right now!" Sean gritted his teeth and retorted.
  • "Stop talking nonsense! I did not scold you when you beat Tom up in school. Wesley didn't say anything about it because he is a kind man. However, you are doing it again! I'll give you thirty minutes to come back!" After she finished speaking, she hung up the phone.
  • "F*ck! Damn that Wesley and Tom. How dare they accuse us first!" Sean was furious, and he drank a considerable amount of alcohol. Then, he grumbled, "I wonder why Sandra would believe him."
  • Hearing his words, Isaac didn't reply and frowned. When this happened, Wesley's first reaction was to call Sandra and give her fake information. He is such a sc*mbag, and it is disgusting!
  • Although Isaac thought about it, he didn't tell Sean or call and explain to Sandra.
  • At the same time, the manager was on the phone on the second floor at Queens Bar. James had called the manager, and he told the latter straightforwardly about his plan.
  • "Yes, Mr. Goodwin. Don't worry, I will handle this perfectly," the manager said respectfully. The Queens Bar was one of Samuel's businesses, and although he was the one in charge of the bar, he was also helping the Goodwins to do illegal things. Since James had a request, he wouldn't dare to refuse.
  • Moreover, he was dissatisfied with Isaac and found the guy arrogant. He wanted to teach Isaac a lesson as he had disrespected him and caused trouble inside the bar.
  • When the manager hung up the call, his face turned cold. After tidying his suit, he turned around and left. After a moment, he brought eight men with tattoos, all who had blood on their hands, to the underground parking lot. The eight men held baseball bats as they walked toward Sean's car.
  • "Look closely. This is Sean's car. You guys know what to do when they come out, right?" the manager said calmly.
  • "Don't worry. We got this, Mr. Gunner. There won't be any mistakes even if more people are in this, let alone two." One of the men with a scar on his face spoke with disdain in his eyes.
  • "Hahaha… Good one. Mr. Gunner is being too cautious over these two young men. All of us don't need to be around when facing them. In fact, I can do it alone." Another man who had a fierce wolf tattooed on his arm laughed.
  • "Don't underestimate them. There is a man who is called Isaac, and he looks well-trained. He was the one who destroyed Christian with only one move even though Christian practices boxing," reminded Mr. Gunner.
  • "Christian is nothing. Did you say that he learned boxing? That is just because he wants to look cool and brag that he has kickboxed before. The competition he participates in isn't a real boxing competition but a show that the casino puts on. Otherwise, he would be long dead! Don't worry, Mr. Gunner. We won't let Isaac get away with this!" said the wolf-tattooed men disdainfully.
  • "Alright. Be careful, you guys. I'm going to go now. Remember, you guys must fake an accident before teaching them a lesson," Mr. Gunner said. As he looked at the eight, incredibly fierce men who had blood on their hands, his lips curled into a cold smirk!
