• Later we all sat around on pillows at tables around the large terrace in the gardens. It seems like so many elves were in attendance and many female elves dancing around with baskets of petals and tossing them into the air as they softly floated down like confetti around us. They were so happy to have us and willing to serve. Nyoko sat at the head of our table as we were her guests of honor, smiling at us clapping her hands in glee.
• It indeed was a celebration. We had just finished eating, and I was swaying to the calm music that played on instruments I have seen here on Aiden, but do not know the names of. I felt Xipher take my hand and squeeze it. I looked over at him and noticed how he was looking at me, then he smiled. He leaned towards me and whispered in my ear. “It would be my pleasure if you would dance with me.”
• I smiled and nodded. We stood up, and he led me to an empty spot large enough to dance. He reached for me and drew me towards him with his hands on my waist. I wrapped mine around his neck, and we began to sway with the unusual music. A few others noticing us decided to get up and do the same. It was quite romantic to be dancing among floating petals and in the arms of the man I loved.
