Chapter 35 Kaihu Two- Book One

Rayna was fantastic as she fought, and I couldn’t help but notice Lucas standing back looking almost afraid as we fought and used the power of our swords. I couldn’t help but grin at his fear as I fought these guards. Then as Rayna and I were next to each other our backs touching, something happened that even amazed us. A huge group of guards surrounded and came at us from every direction then there was a powerful glow radiating from us then a sudden burst of light and flames came out from us and wiped the men out at one time.
Lucas was staring at what just happened in fear, and we now turned to face him. He was slowly backing up towards the door in hopes to escape. We knew we couldn’t let him, so we suddenly knew what had to be done, and we both lifted our flaming swords, and holding hands we pointed it at him as he raised his hands to shield himself he cried out. “No, no… Noooo!!” was the last words we heard as the flames and an enormous flash of light vaporized him to nothing.
When it was over, we stood there staring as we slowly lowered our scepters. “The Light will Conquer Darkness,” Rayna whispered.
