• Damiano had never appreciated or cultivated organization in any aspect of his life. Always detached from the events that succeeded one another, he used to let life take care of whatever came next, without worrying about the fact that he kept taking hit after hit, each one stronger than the last.
• At some point, his expectations became nonexistent, just like his desire to explore more of what life had to offer.
• In his short existence, there was no excitement typical of a young person to explore new places or meet new people. There was no audacity or even the slightest interest someone needs to awaken within themselves the desire to live intensely, as most people his age usually wish.
