Chapter 11
- When she was just a child, Victoria's father allowed her to pluck the most beautiful flower from the garden, releasing it from its roots. Excitedly, she delicately cut it with her father's help, who asked her to observe the flower over the next few days.
- And so she did, watching the lovely white rose in a small vase of clean water for about two weeks.
- In the final days, she became saddened as she noticed the flower wilting more and more, turning dark and becoming dry over the days. Even with proper care, the flower died shortly after.
