Chapter 41

• The pool water was almost lukewarm due to the scorching heat that had heated London during the day. The sky was filling with stars that crowned the beautiful night Damiano and Victoria spent together, after spending hours in the pool, playing like two carefree children.
• Now and then, a few people, albeit few, would join them to enjoy and cool off from the intense heat that persisted even during the night. Victoria was adamant, not wanting to leave the water at all. Damiano lost count of how many times he had asked them to go to the restaurant for dinner, as he was famished. She ignored him every time, disregarding the older man's wishes.
• She was focused on only caring for herself from then on, as she had felt over the past few days that she had slowly neglected her mental health.
