Chapter 14

• The previous day dragged on like a 5-hour-long movie. One of those long and monotonous films, with few dialogues and static black-and-white shots.
• The atmosphere was calm, nothing hostile or aggressive, but uncomfortable in a way. Damiano and Victoria exchanged a few words with each other during the passing day, saying only what was necessary to coexist peacefully. Neither of them commented on the almost-happened involvement or the feelings that had disturbed them that night.
