• “I’d like to speak to the person in charge,” Rowan commanded, though he had to tip his head all the way back just to look at the officer in front of him.
• The officer took in the little boy’s attire. The youngster had a sleek pair of shades perched on his perfectly chiseled nose. Coupled with his ivory skin, he looked imperious and aloof, though the officer merely saw him as an amusingly precocious child. With a chuckle, the officer asked, “Who are you and why are you looking for our boss?”
• The little boy primly lifted his chin and explained, “I’m Ethan Jennings’ son, Benedict. Immediately bring the person in charge to me.”
