• The kidnapper held his head and begged for mercy. "Please, I don't know! My boss is the one who took this job. All we had to do was work with him."
• Thea didn't believe that at all. Even if he didn't know who the real kidnapper was, he must know something else. Thea gritted her teeth and looked around. To her surprise, she saw the unconscious kidnapper holding a dagger. She hobbled over to pick it up, then she waved it in front of the other kidnapper.
• "You're not spilling anything, huh? Well, since you tried to kill me, I guess it's fair that I get to play a game with you." Thea smiled, but the light that reflected off the dagger turned her smile into a sneer.
