Amara's pov
I deliberated on what fairytale we would fit in, a fairytale with a darker twist because no fairy tales had the heroine running through the forest with an inferno of fervor and need budding through her while the villain chased behind unseen. There were princesses and princes who were gentlemen in fairytales with the kisses of true love and a happily ever after but that wasn't the case in mine.
If I were still to root out a similar fairytale with a heroine like me and a villain like Orian, I'd settle for Beauty and the Beast, only that the beast didn't chase Belle through the woods with the promise of ruining her if he caught her.
