Chapter 109
- I wiped my sweater across her fur and she wagged her tail as I dried her off, "I am f-ive today. Some sa-y I a-m too bi-g for my a-ge."
- I continued to tell her about all my favorite things. How I loved climbing trees and wished for new shoes and toys and clothes. I hope momma would let me keep her. She is so small and tiny. I don't want her to die out there and she's going to be my friend forever.
- I coughed as I made my way into the house. Tiptoeing so no one would hear me. I needed to hide snow. I named her snow, she's white like snow and her fur is soft too. I got up to my room and put her under the bed. She was already fast asleep and I needed to get her something to eat for when she woke up.
