• I wasn’t with a gun at the moment and I was already feeling pretty light and armless, it was a feeling I hated experiencing because for one, I hated how I had come to so much to depend on a gun or a knife, but it wasn’t like I had ever had a choice in this kind of situation, seeing as I was literally born into it and had no choice but to follow the footsteps already laid out for me.
• I turned my head around and scanned the whole oksve for a fleeting moment, and because I was still feeling really armless and exposed, I gestured for one of the guards to come towards me in the next moment, knowing the Sofia was currently looking at what it was that I was doing with nothing but curiosity in her eyes.
