• “Holy shit.” I heard James whisper beside me and I snorted a little, still not allowing my eyes to slide open, even though I heard him curse a little louder after a few more seconds. I felt him nudge my shoulder but hesitated for a few seconds before finally sitting up and blinking my eyes open to stare at him.
