Chapter 20

• I wake up the following morning around the time we arrive in Chicago. I walk out of the bedroom cabin and to my seat. Looking at Thomas as he uses his phone, I wonder if Thomas will reprimand me for being clingy last night. I didn't mean to. I simply needed someone to be there for me after my nightmare. I'm shocked that he took care of me last night. A part of me wondered if it had all been a dream because he was the Thomas I remembered.
• Because he doesn't say anything to me, I smile as time passes, believing he isn't angry about it. Perhaps things will turn out well for me while we are in Chicago.
