• KOA’S POV
• I had a dream. In that dream, Persephone was telling me how much she liked me, how much my smile brightened her day and how much she wanted to kiss me. The expression on her face was so soft, I knew I must be dreaming. There was no way she could make such a tender expression. Not to my surprise, I opened my eyes.
• Everything hurt, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I gritted my teeth to bite down on the pain but it did not help much.
